We all have to die one day; the time and the event are fixed; we just don’t know about it. We do not know anything about our death. Whatever we have collected in life, whatever we have considered our own, will be left here. In such a situation, there should be someone in our life who is our true companion, knows us, and is capable of doing everything. All these qualities are only in our Lord. We do not know where we will go after death. Where we were before this birth is also unknown. The work of Maya (Illusion) is to make us forget everything, and the work of devotion (spirituality) is to awaken our memory about who we are.
Need for Attaining God
Do you get satisfaction after enjoying any pleasure? Does it seem that your heart has become calm, and now there is nothing left to enjoy? Some people keep looking at other women even after marriage. Even though someone has wealth, he keeps getting jealous of the wealth of others. Some people fail even after trying hard. We treat others with pure intentions, yet people treat us with bitterness. There are many such problems in life. After death, all this will be left here. Our bodies will also be left, and nothing will go with us from here. If there is no devotion, this life is in vain.
This is like being sent to America for government work. Your family also goes with you, so the government also makes your boarding and lodging arrangements. You go there and come back after enjoying all the arrangements. If you come back and say that the work you were sent for was not completed, will you be forgiven?

Experience Of The Womb And The Importance Of Spirituality
When we are in the mother’s womb, consciousness awakens in the eighth month, and the child realizes how dirty a place he is in. In that state of terrible pain, he remembers God. Then he remembers the deeds of many births and he prays to God to take him out of the mother’s womb once. He says, “I will do such deeds; I will engage in your devotion so that I do not have to come into the mother’s womb again.” He is born by the grace of God, and as soon as he is born, that knowledge and image of God are destroyed. Then, trapped in the worldly attachment and passion, he commits sinful deeds and attains misery. Therefore, we must attain God. Without attaining God, there will be neither happiness nor peace.
Benefits Of Spirituality
If there is no spirituality or devotion, then these things will be inside you: fear of suffering, unrest, desire for wealth, desire for pleasures, fear and sorrow. If you turn to God, you will become fearless. You will not fear anything. Next, you will become free from sorrow; there will be no sorrow in your heart. Then there will be peace of mind and carefreeness. You will think, “I will engage in devotion, and the Lord will take care of the rest.” Then, you will not commit sinful acts.
Opportunity Of Human Life
Ever since we have been separated from God, we have not met Him to date. Now, in this human life, we have the opportunity to meet God so that all our problems end and we become free from the cycle of birth and death.
Difficulties Of The World And The Need For Spirituality
There is so much sorrow in this world. People’s bodies are shattered in accidents. Hands and legs are damaged, and they have to spend their lives dragging themselves. People get such diseases that their family members pray to God for their death. Is this love? If you do not practice spirituality, who is there to truly love you? God is the only one who will save you from all sorrows. Therefore, attainment of God is necessary. In every situation, someone loves us very much; that is only our Lord.
