Semen comes out of the body in two ways. The most harmful loss of semen is of the one which is used in procreation. People who lose it turn out to be the ones who masturbate. Or those people who have destroyed their semen due to bad company and bad habits since childhood. Even if such people stop masturbating, their semen will continue to come out because their bodies have become accustomed to ejaculation. The second way is semen comes out from those people who have never masturbated and whose actions and thoughts are pure. In this, semen capable of producing a child does not come out. This way of loss of semen does not harm celibacy.

If you have been indulging in bad habits and want to stop, it will take some time for you to recover, about six months; until then, you will continue to lose semen. If you remain undisciplined and keep losing semen, you will get in real trouble, and your situation will worsen.

First of all, you should stop masturbation and adultery. You should give up false notions that masturbation is pleasurable. Some say that what else to do if they are not married yet? Is the purpose of your life so limited? Can’t you wait until you get married? Have you become such a slave to your senses? Is this the only means of happiness?

We must see whether nightfall occurs without any dirty thoughts. If yes, then don’t worry. But if it is due to sensual thoughts and past habits, then it is harming your celibacy. Masturbation is a disease that makes you hollow from the inside.

1. Avoid Bad Company

Do not associate with people who masturbate. The main purpose of semen is the birth of a child. Don’t consider it entertainment; it is the life force. To prevent nightfall, stop masturbating immediately. Even if married, you should observe celibacy for a few months to control nightfall.

Take a look at the young boys who have practised celibacy. They are full of life and energy and jumping around. Look at their way of singing and enthusiasm. This is due to celibacy and its effects. Compare this to people who masturbate; they can’t even kill a fly! Therefore, avoid the company of people who encourage you to destroy celibacy and live a comfortable life, who encourage you to eat fish and eggs, etc.

2. Balanced Diet And Nutrition

  • Stop eating foods that increase arousal. Avoid too salty or too spicy food, and avoid very hot food.
  • Avoid using garam masala in your cooking.
  • Avoid very sour tastes like tamarind or raw mango chutney, etc.
  • Avoid meat and alcohol. Those who say that meat increases our strength are wrong. It only increases fat (cholesterol) in the body, not strength. Real strength (determination power) comes from following celibacy. Physical strength is not paramount. The power of the mind is infinite and more important. A person who practices celibacy has “Sankalpa Shakti”, the power of mind. Controlling strong desires is the real power. People who eat fish, eggs and meat will never be able to stop masturbation. People who drink alcohol can never retain their semen. Whether you are a family man or a saint, alcohol consumption will ruin your life.
  • Do not eat too much oily food. Do not eat onion and garlic.
  • Avoid stale food.
  • Avoid sour fruits
  • Try to eat pure sattvic food, such as cow’s milk, wheat-based foods, cow’s ghee, butter, moong dal, boiled potatoes, bananas, freshly made curd, etc.
  • Some dry fruits like almonds, well-cooked rice, pulses, sugar, etc., are fine, and this satvik pure food is very good and tasty.
  • To improve your health, fruits like grapes, oranges and pomegranates can be consumed.
  • Drinking hot milk and going to sleep immediately will definitely cause nightfall. If you have to drink milk at night, drink warm milk at least an hour before sleeping.

3. Get Up Early In The Morning

Another important aspect of maintaining celibacy is to wake up at four in the morning. Those of you who sleep till eight or nine in the morning can never control nightfall. By sleeping after sunrise, your inner strength starts decreasing. The time from four in the morning to six in the morning is a very important time of the day to generate inner strength. A person who remains asleep between four o’clock and six o’clock in the morning cannot remain celibate.

After waking up, drink water kept in a copper vessel—not a small glass, but at least half or one litre. Sit in Vajrasana, drink water, walk for a while, and then go to the bathroom to freshen up.

4. Workout and Breathing Exercises

Whether you are a family man or a renunciate, if you want to eliminate the problem of masturbation or nightfall, you must exercise. Exercise for thirty minutes in the morning. You can do sit-ups and push-ups, or you can do some yoga asanas. After that, do Pranayama, either Kapalbhati or Anulom-Vilom, whatever you know, for twenty minutes. Do not eat anything for at least thirty minutes after exercise and pranayam. Avoid tea and water. Tea is for old people. A young celibate does not need tea. Because there is enough energy and heat inside him. So please wake up at four in the morning and follow this routine. Pranayama and exercise are necessary.

If you follow this disciplined life, you can regain and control your celibacy within six months.

5. Avoid Smart Phones And Internet

Smartphones are used by youth to watch dirty movies (porn) etc. According to our scriptures, a spiritual seeker is prohibited from even watching the mating of birds and animals. How can you remain celibate if you watch human sexual acts through a smartphone? Even if you do not do any dirty act, just watching such pictures will increase sexual desire and destroy semen. Therefore, you should avoid using smartphones and use simple, cheap phones. Adopt this discipline for at least two-four months. Once your mind is under control you can start using expensive phones.

6. Don’t Read Adult Magazines

Nothing can save you from destruction if you continue reading pornographic magazines. This is a big mistake that all the youths make today. They sit alone and watch such things. We should never discuss topics like women, sex, etc., because these discussions affect our minds. They ignite the fire of sexual desire within us and cause the destruction of semen. Be careful not to read any books or magazines that might arouse sexual desire within you.

7. Avoid Misinformation

Do not consult doctors unless absolutely necessary. Most doctors today are unaware of the benefits of celibacy. How can a doctor who is not self-controlled and is engaged in sense gratification show you the right path? You cannot use science as an excuse to satisfy your desires. If science is everything, then go and read the comments on the videos related to celibacy uploaded on YouTube, where a large number of young people are asking whether they should commit suicide. A boy said that he has been masturbating since the age of twelve, and now he is in a depressed state and wants to commit suicide. Can any science expert provide relief to such a person? There are at least fifty such cases. There is a huge difference between the mental capacity of a Mahatma and that of a scientist. A Mahatma can provide you with inner spiritual guidance. Blindly following science will only increase your destructive intelligence, not your spiritual intelligence. Follow the principles mentioned in our scriptures and make your life joyful.

8. Do not depend on medicines

Medicines act only as a support. But do not take these medicines every day. Wake up in the morning, take a bath, take a basil leaf, offer it to Thakur ji, and eat it. Eat a neem leaf in the evening. Consume it for a few days. If you can digest it then you can gradually increase its quantity. Gradually, you can take up to 10 leaves each day. You will not need any other medicine. Neem and Tulsi are the panacea for all diseases, consume it in the morning and evening. Try not to depend too much on medicines. Otherwise, you will feel weak when you stop taking the medicines. If your condition is very serious, there are specific ayurvedic solutions developed by Mahatmas that can improve your semen. You can use these as a support.

9. Remember God

If your thoughts are dominated by lust and you constantly think about sensual things, you cannot maintain your celibacy even by following all the rules or taking medicines. Change your thought process, and chant Radha Radha. Sleep only as much as is necessary. Laziness and excess sleep will harm your celibacy.

Follow the rules above, and you will definitely overcome nightfall. We have practitioners here who have not had nightfall for ten years. They became disciplined and stopped the flow of semen. Whether you are a family man or a saint, semen is like nectar. Losing semen is like losing life. Understand this and always remember this.
