If you are living in a faraway country or if you do not have the strength to sacrifice your family’s pleasures, relations or worldly luxuries, then you should call from there, “O Vrindavan Dham, I want the devotion of Shyama-Shyama and unbroken residence in Shri Dham Vrindavan. Kindly bless me so that now, when I go to Vrindavan, I do not have to return from there.” The one who keeps calling like this repeatedly receives the infinite blessings of Shri Dham Vrindavan, and Vrindavan Dham pulls that soul. The way Vrindavan pulls you may certainly be different from how you think. It may be that the way your residence in Vrindavan happens is the opposite of your thinking. To understand this better, a true incident from the life of a devotee is given below.
A True Incident: The Wonderful Blessings Of Vrindavan Dham
There was a wealthy man in Delhi (India). He heard in the satsang that the Lord gets pleased quickly with those who serve the saints of Vrindavan. And when the Lord gets pleased, he pulls him near Himself, i.e. gives him the abode of the eternal Shri Dham Vrindavan. He had a lot of wealth and was engrossed in the material things of enjoyment, but one thing from the satsang stuck in his mind: the saints of Vrindavan should be served. Now, whenever he came to Vrindavan, he would arrange a feast for the saints.
The Glory Of The Saints Of Vrindavan
Do not think the saints who roam around in Vrindavan are ordinary people. Where are they sitting? In Shri Dham Vrindavan! Where are they going? To get the Prasad of Priya-Priyatam! Wherever the Prasad is being distributed in Vrindavan, it is first offered to Shyama-Shyama. And they eat the Prasad by sitting in the most loving dust of Vrindavan. All of them are dependent on Shyam-Shyam, are living in their palace and are getting their remnants. These are not ordinary people. Ordinary beings cannot come to Vrindavan. When someone is blessed with the infinite grace of Pyaari Ju (Shri Radharani), he comes to Vrindavan. Never assume they are beggars who wander here and there and do not do any devotion. Their devotion is complete; thus, they got Shri Dham Vrindavan. The mature state of devotion is the attainment of Dham.
“Hyaan phirai swarth apaane, bhajan gahein phirai baahiin – Vrindavan shat leela” – Here devotion gets hold of you. No one can live here without devotion. While living in Vrindavan, you will see saints, creepers, Yamuna ji, Radhavallabh ji, Radha Raman ji and Banke Bihari ji. Is there any devotion greater than this? The Lord Himself is present here. The name of Shri Radha is resonating everywhere here. Every leaf here is filled with the glory of Priya Ju. Breathing here will destroy your sins. “Vrindavan mein jo kabahun, bhajan kachhoo nahin hoy, raj tau udi laagai tanahin, peevai yamuna toy – vrndaavan shat leela .” No one’s words are capable of describing the glory of this place. Do not consider those who are living here as ordinary. Those sitting in a line here, saying Radhe-Radhey and asking for a rupee, do not consider them ordinary. These are the beggars of the palace of Priya Ju, which we cannot even think of. Therefore, do not look at any resident here with a negative view. They are the richest of all.
The Service Spirit Of The Rich Man Of Delhi
The rich and famous man of Delhi, whenever he came to Vrindavan, would organize a feast for the saints. Now, his wealth started increasing. His enthusiasm increased, and he thought his wealth was growing due to the grace of the saints of Vrindavan. He started visiting Vrindavan every week. Four feasts started happening in a month. Now, his happiness started increasing. The one son he had was also very well-behaved, gentlemanly, and very proficient in studies. He also started helping him in his business.
Saints Of Vrindavan Travelling To Delhi
It came to his mind that the saints of Vrindavan should be invited to his home (in Delhi) once. The saints of Vrindavan are very generous and very kind, and he had been serving them for years, so all the saints agreed. The next day, he brought a bus and made all the saints sit in it to take them to Delhi. A saint who never used to go to any feast came and sat on that bus. He never used to go outside Vrindavan. Everyone was surprised at how this saint, who never used to go outside Vrindavan, was sitting on a bus to Delhi. Everyone asked him why, but that saint did not answer. All the other saints told that rich man that his service was successful because a saint with such devotion to Vrindavan agreed to go with him.
On reaching Delhi, he gave an excellent welcome to all the saints and fed everyone delicious prasad. When all the saints started going back, that saint said to him, “Vrindavan has called you. I have come here only to call you.” No one understood anything because he used to go to Vrindavan every week. It is tough to understand the language of saints. That saint sat in the bus and went back to Vrindavan.
The Divine Call Of Vrindavan Dham
The very next day, the son of that Rich man met with an accident and died. This is the call of Vrindavan; it will call in its own way. Now that man and his wife thought, to whom will all this property be given? The only heir was gone. They decided to sell all their property, adorn the Thakurs of Vrindavan with ornaments, offer them food, and live in Vrindavan forever. Now, some people may think, why did their son die after doing so much service to saints? First, Shri Dham Vrindavan gave that son a divine body and put him in the service of Shri Radharani. After this, Shri Vrindavan Dham ended the attachment of that couple to all worldly things and gave them solitary residence in Vrindavan so that they would not even think of Delhi again.
Prayer To Get Blessings Of Vrindavan
The one who always calls out with his words, “I want to attain the service of Radha-Madhava, O Vrindavan Dham, I want to renounce everything and come to you”, then Shri Vrindavan Dham, by its grace, makes him renounce everything. Vrindavan makes you renounce everything in two ways: either Vrindavan will create detachment in your heart through discretion or create such a situation that you will be left with nothing (no material belongings, wealth or relationships).
